Charles Harden was born on the 1st of June 1864 at a house entitled 'The Downs',Epsom, Surrey England.

Charles was baptised at St Martins Church,Epsom on the 10 of July 1864

Charles Parents were:William Harden and Sarah Harden . Initially he was a Bricklayer but later in life he became a Painter& Decorator.

At the age of 16 he was living at Downs Hall Road, Epsom.

At the age of 25 Charles married on the 9th of November 1889 in St Martins Church,Epsom,Surrey.

He was married to:Kate Harden (nee Webber)and they moved to Pikes Hill, Epsom.

Children were:Maud Harden,Dorothy N.Harden,Florence M.Harden,Albert Harden,Frederick George Harden,Rosina Harden,George Harden,William Harden,Vera Harden

Charles was taken seriously ill whilst at a local football match between Epsom Town and Addlestone United and later died on the 6th of September 1924
