HardenErnest was born in the Autumn of 1867 at Epsom,Surrey England.
His Baptism on the 9th of February 1868 was held at St Martins Church,Epsom

At the age of 13 he was an Errand Boy in Epsom, but by the age of 23 Ernest had started on the Railway. He retired in 1933 as a Railway Porter,he lived at 9 Miles Road,Epsom.

Ernest died from heart failure on the 11th of August 1942,aged 74.He is buried in plot A416 at Ashley Road cemetery,Epsom.
