Walter Edward
Harden (See photo) Walter was born on the 10th of September in 1870 at Epsom,Surrey England. Walter was baptised at St Martins of Tours church,Epsom on the 9th October 1870
His Parents were:William Harden and Sarah Harden.
At the age of 19 he was an Grocers Assistant but at the age of 21 he had started working at Epsom Golf Course as a Gardner and later as a Green Keeper. He retired in 1938.
Walter married in Epsom Registry Office on the 15th December 1892
He was married to: Mary Jane Harden (nee Baker)
Children were: Edith Harden,Walter Ernest Harden,Lillian Harden,Evelina Harden,Majorie Ethel Harden
Walter died on the 17th February 1961,and is buried in Grave N294 at Ashley Road Cemetery,Epsom,Surrey.
